Although it may seem that this only affects our mood, in reality the contribution is much deeper &#8211; the lack of sunlight is the main reason why many of us develop <strong data-start=\"426\" data-end=\"448\">a vitamin D deficiency<\/strong> . <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"451\" data-end=\"559\">But why is vitamin D so important and how do you find the most suitable supplement among the many? Let&#8217;s take a closer look. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"616\"><strong data-start=\"570\" data-end=\"616\">What is vitamin D and why is it needed?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"843\">Vitamin D is not just a vitamin, but also a hormonally active compound that has several functions in the body.
