Accordingly, we have developed the following privacy policy principles, which cover the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, and storage of customer data. Collection and Use of Personal Data

The collection of personal data from regular customers may occur in the following ways:

• when providing contact information (including your name, personal identification code, postal address, phone number, email address, and preferred method of contact) on our website or elsewhere (e.g., in stores);
• through the use of our website, either via customer account information or cookies
• when making a purchase or placing an order in our store or online shop, by storing personal contact information or data related to purchase preferences (NordenBio may request that you voluntarily provide personal data and information in certain areas of the website. Use and Storage of Collected Personal Data

Collected personal data allows us to inform customers about NordenBio product news, campaigns, and upcoming events. A customer who does not wish to be on our newsletter list or receive notifications about products they may be interested in can opt out of the recipient group at any time.

We also use the collected personal data for delivering goods and fulfilling our obligations to the customer.

By agreeing to the terms of the privacy policy, the customer gives NordenBio OÜ consent to the automated processing of their data. You may withdraw your consent at any time via our website or by submitting a request in a format that can be reproduced in writing. The request or withdrawal of consent does not have retroactive effect.

To provide better customer service, NordenBio OÜ may disclose information about individual users to third parties who provide services to NordenBio OÜ and are contractually obligated to keep the shared information confidential. Such third parties may include our partners responsible for the delivery of goods sold in the online store or for providing installment payment services.

NordenBio OÜ retains customer personal data until the termination of the regular customer agreement. Data that NordenBio is legally required to retain (e.g., accounting records) will be stored in accordance with the requirements set out in applicable legislation.

NordenBio OÜ is the data controller of personal data. For the purpose of processing payments, NordenBio OÜ forwards the necessary personal data to the authorized processor Maksekeskus AS.

Protection of Personal Data

NordenBio OÜ applies all necessary precautions (including administrative, technical, and physical measures) to protect customer personal data. Access to modify and process the data is granted only to authorized individuals.

If you suspect that your personal data has been handled contrary to what is described in this privacy policy or that your data may have been exposed to unauthorized individuals, please notify us immediately. This is the only way we can minimize potential harm.

The customer has the right to request the termination of data processing, information about the use of their data, and the transfer of their data to themselves or a third party in a commonly used format. To prevent misuse of customer data and rights, requests may only be submitted in a form that allows the applicant’s identity to be verified (digitally signed or personally signed at our office). We have the right to respond to such requests within 30 days.

A request to terminate data processing will be treated as a notice of termination of the regular customer agreement.

Security

All personal data disclosed during visits to and purchases from the NordenBio online store is treated as confidential information. The encrypted data communication channel with banks ensures the security of the purchaser’s personal data and banking details.

Privacy Policy Terms and Changes

By starting to use our website or by submitting a regular customer application, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these principles and terms. We reserve the right to amend the general terms of the privacy policy if necessary, informing all regular customers of such changes. However, we will do our best to keep our privacy policy up to date and accessible to you on our website.

You always have the right to contact the Data Protection Inspectorate or a court to protect your personal data. The Data Protection Inspectorate is a national authority that can also be approached for consultation or assistance on matters related to personal data protection.
